Midwest would like to recognize Sarah Robinson for her accomplishments in raising the professionalism in her family child care home! I started my childcare journey almost 10 years ago helping out in Generations' Daycare, with Vicky Urwiller-Sepcenko. She is an amazing mentor that inspired me to start my own work with children. Many years later, after working a few centers, I opened my own in-home program. I have owned and operated Robinson's Family Childcare from 2016 to current. Over the last few years, we have been making slow and steady improvements to the quality of care I provide in my home.
When the pandemic hit, I took AOK Business course and learned so many new things and was truly inspired by the women in the class with me. I started Step up to Quality to really challenge myself to see how I could improve my space from the perspective of the children. I am currently getting ready to be rate
