Center Training-
Learn about why serving a variety of food choices, particularly different colors of fruits and vegetables is important for optimal health for children. Discover easy and fast ideas to incorporate variety into meal and snack planning. Provide ideas of hands on activities to do with kids to learn about the importance of a variety of colors and relate to learning objectives.

Home Training-
Provide hands on education of how food helps growing bodies stay healthy. Discuss how food works in our bodies providing calories, protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and water. Identify the role of these nutrients. Use hands-on learning to help kids understand food choices that give their bodies energy and foods that may make them feel sluggish. Foods that keep their teeth healthy, help then have bowel movements, etc.
